Fundraising

Our main Fundraising will take place at the Gala Dinner on the 9th of May 2026. There will be a live auction along with a silent auction, and raffle. Money raised in 2026 will provide two scholarships.

Scholarships

The first is for an Australian National University (ANU) student of Italian, to complete one month of intensive Italian at the University for Foreigners in Siena. The second is for an ANU student of music, to complete one month study at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana which is a world recognised institution for advanced musical studies.

In further discussions between Francesco Ricatti, Associate Professor of Italian Studies at ANU, and Professor Carla Bagna, Vice Rector of the University for Foreigners of Siena, it has been organised that all students of Intermediate Italian language at the ANU, from 2027 will have the opportunity to study for one month at the University for Foreigners of Siena.
